About the Position

You will become part of a prestigious research center focused on resilience and sustainable development. The activities are characterized by interdisciplinary collaboration and a strong international network. Here, researchers, PhD students, and administrative staff work together to increase understanding of complex relationships between humans and nature, educate future leaders, and contribute to positive societal development.

The position is based at the university's premises in Stockholm with some possibility for remote work.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of HR Administrator, you will work broadly within the HR field and serve as an important support to both managers and employees. Your main tasks include:

  • Administration of cases in the HR system
  • Posting payroll in close collaboration with managers, researchers, and finance
  • Conducting monthly payroll controls
  • Handling HR matters, such as recruitment administration, employment decisions, and payroll issues
  • Issuing certificates, such as employer and insurance certificates
  • Support on personnel matters, including work permits, insurance, and employment terms
  • Monitoring fixed-term employment and applying labor law regulations
  • Coordinating on- and offboarding, including practical aspects of introduction and termination
  • Supporting the establishment of international employees in Sweden, including contact with authorities
  • Administration and coordination of guest researchers
  • Administration in connection with doctoral defenses
  • Backup on expense claims and travel accounts, as well as contact with travel suppliers

You will report to the Administrative Manager and work closely with the administrative unit. Other administrative tasks may occur.

We are looking for someone who is structured, self-reliant, and responsible. You have good collaboration skills and thrive in a role with many contact points. You are communicative, solution-oriented, and have the ability to prioritize your work effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in HR administration, payroll management, or equivalent
  • University degree or equivalent education
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of MS Office

Merits:

  • Experience with HR/payroll systems
  • Experience working within public or state sector activities

Scope and Start Date

Full-time, consultancy assignment for approx. 11 months. Start date: 2026-05-04.
